人は寿命が尽きる直前でも、
真の生き方を教わったら、
たとえその日の晩に亡くなっても構わない、
という意味です。
次の生涯からは、
前世で知った生命の目的を目指し、
真の生き方を引き続いて追求することになるからです。
真の生き方と、
真ではない生き方があるというわけではありませんが、
偽我の気楽な生き方をし、その結果として次の生涯は、
苦難にみちた無益な人生を送るということを、
振り子のように果てしなく繰り返します。
